In the past, we had amazing stories about how smartphones saved lives by stopping things like bullets and shrapnel. There is now a new story to add to the mix because, according to a new Australian report, it would seem that the life of a New South Wales man was saved by his iPhone when he intercepted a stock that was intended for him.
According to a News.com.au report, a man was ambushed by another man in the morning. The victim took out his iPhone to record the attacker who was targeting him with a bow and arrows. As you can see in the picture below, the arrow tried to hack the iPhone, but it stopped at the end.
The victim was not seriously injured, suffered a minor break-up and did not require medical treatment. It was also expected that the break would not occur because of the arrow itself, but because of the force of the arrow that caused the victim to bang on the chin by telephone.
Shortly after, the attacker was arrested at the scene by company agents who quickly arrived at the scene. Several charges were laid against the attacker, including acts of arming, the intention to commit a crime and assault that resulted in bodily harm.
