Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit delivered a speech to King Salman at the Arab Summit, which opened on Sunday, and hailed Saudi Arabia's efforts to address to the crises that have known the Arab region during the past year.
Aboul Gheit also addressed the crises in the Arab region, saying Iran and Turkey's interventions have escalated and prolonged.
The Secretary-General referred to "the suffering of the Arab peoples in many areas of terrorism", explaining that "Arab national security was exposed to the most serious challenges of contemporary history", including external interventions, including Turkey and Iran.
"We do not accept that countries in the region have homes in our Arab region," he added.
"It is unacceptable that foreign powers intervene in the Arab region, in the image of the ambitions of an old empire," he said. He said the confrontation was done through "the intimidation of the Arab umbrella against regional interventions".
He also stressed that "Arab civil security" was not uncommon in some Arab countries, adding that "Arab national security is indivisible".
On the occupied Syrian Golan, he said: "The Israeli occupation is trying to establish the reality and destruction of the country," noting that "the US statement on the Golan is contrary to all international standards."

The 30th Arab Summit will be held Sunday at the Palais des Congrès in Tunis, which will address a number of topical issues and key issues, including the Washington decision on the Golan Heights.
