The Hazaa bin Zayed stadium will be the fourth on Monday afternoon, date of the next match between the Iranian and Japanese teams in the semi-finals of the Asian Cup, currently contested in the UAE.
Japan has qualified for the semi-finals after winning five matches in the Asian Cup, leading its group in the first round with a win over Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Oman, before beating Saudi Arabia and Vietnam 16 and last eight.
Japan scored eight goals in the 17th Asian Cup with just three conceded.
Iran scored four wins and one draw in their Asian Cup matches, beating China 3-0 in the quarter-finals, scoring 12 goals while keeping the goal clean.
Iran is looking to qualify for the Asian Cup final for the first time in 43 years..
Japan has an impressive record in the semi-finals, with only one defeat against Saudi Arabia in the semifinals in 2007 and four more on the way to winning the title in 1992, 2000, 2004 and 2011..
