Sahar Tabar is known for posting photos of herself mutilated on the internet

An Iranian woman who posted deeply distorted photos of herself online has been sentenced to 10 years in prison, a year after her arrest for her social media activities, according to the Guardian newspaper.

Sahar Tabar, 19, real name Fatma Khishund, has emerged after posting photos of his emaciated zombie-like face. And she was very similar to American actress Angelina Jolie. At one point, she had 486,000 followers on Instagram.

She has been accused of spreading corruption among young people and disrespecting Iran. In the spring, she demanded her release, claiming she was infected with the Corona virus.

At one point, Tabar called on actress Angelina Jolie to campaign for her release, saying, “Iran has a history of torture of women. We must unite against this racial discrimination between the sexes. “

The charges against Tabar included, first, blasphemy, incitement to violence, obtaining income through inappropriate means, and encouraging young people to become corrupt. She said she had been acquitted of two of the four charges against her, but declined to comment further as she was still hoping for a pardon.

Iranian state television broadcast his confession at the end of October last year. His expressions of regret aroused much sympathy. The report describes Tabar as a “victim of an unnatural personality and mental state” that relies on “vulgarity” on social media.

Medical records also indicated that she had a mental illness and had a history of visits to mental hospitals. His lawyers requested his release on bail and cited his age at the time of the alleged crimes.
