A drunken doctor attempted to rape a woman inside the Shatrah General Hospital in the governorate of Dhi Qar in southern Iraq.
Medical sources said: "A doctor from the Shatrah Hospital in Dhi Qar Province tried to rape a citizen who was visiting the hospital to check her condition late last night," according to Iraqi media.
The sources said the doctor was drunk, while the woman complained to the police station and the health department, Dhi Qar, called the doctor on Sunday to appear before the director-general of health to find out what was happening. circumstances of the incident.
To confirm the incident, the deputy of the province of Dhi Qar Abdul Amir, in Dubai on Saturday, the Minister of Health, Alaa Alwan, expelled a doctor who consumes "alcohol" in a hospital from the province.
