The Ministry of Justice has prepared 58 judges who are assigned to work in the courts and labor departments, which will be open early next year – if God the wants. The ministry prepares its judges for the tasks and work of the labor courts by providing them with many professional and personal skills that enable them to scientific, applied and qualified aspects in the field of labor justice.
The Department of Justice qualifies its judges as part of a two-month training program in the labor judiciary, providing training on the theory of the contract and its condition, the provisions of the guarantee and the Compensation for work. And the methods of evidence in labor disputes, arbitration and reconciliation in labor matters, collective disputes in the labor judiciary and the requirements of the abolition of administrative decisions, the jurisdiction of labor and the exceptions therein. And to understand the skills of the labor market, to study the applications required by work in the labor courts, and to become familiar with the interpretation of legal texts and their applications in labor law.
The rehabilitation of judges of the Ministry of Justice for this program in preparation for the exercise of the work of the labor courts and labor courts. Judges assigned to the Labor Court have been selected according to strict criteria based on the judicial and scientific competence required to attract students with advanced academic qualifications to the systems or to prepare academic, academic or judicial research related to the Labor Court and to Other relevant international laws and regulations. Or those who have already been apprentices to specialized training programs in labor justice. Judicial experience and seniority were also taken into account, taking into account the Supreme Judicial Council for the stability and regularity of the functioning of the courts.
The Ministry of Justice pointed out that the courts should start with the reference to the general judiciary in order to enhance the investment opportunities in the Kingdom, to achieve excellence in justice and reduce the length of litigation.
The first phase of the transfer of labor courts to the public judicial system will include the opening of seven labor courts (Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, Abha, Dammam, Buraidah and Medina), 27 labor departments in the cities and the governorates of the Kingdom, 6 courts of appeal in different regions of the Kingdom.
