Kane has reached 21 goals, to dominate the Premier League scorecard, two goals ahead of Salah, who is in a strong showdown with Liverpool against Leeds United on Monday at the end of the 32nd stage.
But Kane’s joy with his two goals against Everton and being the league’s top scorer didn’t last long as the England striker was injured and left the pitch two minutes before the end.
After the meeting, Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho revealed that Kane suffered an injury which could keep him out of the stadiums in the coming period, as he said: “It is too early to say anything whatever, but leaving the field a few minutes before the end means he felt something. “
He continued, “Let’s be optimistic. I think he has time to recover, let’s see.”
He added: “I don’t think the injury is serious. He’s a very important player. I can’t say more or guess.”
And which increased the possibility of Kane sustaining a serious injury, statements by teammate Eric Dyer, who said: “It’s especially worrying when Kane is limping, as he doesn’t fall easily despite the many bruises.”
