Karim Benzema is the last to join the list of football players
The list of victims is long, but the path is always the same: wait for the player to leave his home to participate in a major match, then storm the house and steal it.
Karim Benzema is the latest addition to the list of football players. He stole his home Wednesday while he was playing for Real against Barcelona at the home of the King's Cup semifinal.
The night was difficult for the top French scorer, who did not help his team avoid a three-point loss to the Catalan side who eliminated them from the tournament.

Two weeks ago, the same incident was revealed to Kevin Prince Boateng, joined by Barcelona in January. Boateng was stolen while he was playing against Real Valladolid in the Spanish league.

The same thing happened to his teammate, Jordi Alba, in November. They were in Milan to play against Inter Milan in the Champions League when thieves entered his home and managed to steal him.

The phenomenon is not limited to Spain: four footballers were stolen in France last week.
The home of Brazilian player Danny Alves was stolen during a match against Paris Saint-Germain against Montpellier at Prince's Park stadium in the French capital, the prosecutor's office in Nanterre, a suburb of France, said Sunday.

The French sports daily L'Equipe reports that thieves stole valuables and tens of thousands of dollars.
Meanwhile, Olympique Lyons, Memphis Debay, Lucas Tozeart and Babi Cheikh Diop were robbed as they faced Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Added to this is a list of thefts of the houses of Jacques-Henri Errod, president of the Marseille Club, PSG players: Eric Maxim Chopo-Moting (twice in November and December) and Tiago Emiliano Silva (December).
In England
This is not new to storming football houses in their absence – a frequent event in northwestern England.
Between 2006 and 2009, for example, 21 football players in the region were stolen.
The Senegalese Sadio Mani, who stole hours, cell phones and car keys while he was playing for Liverpool on Anfield against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, reported the latest flights on the same day as the flights from Leon.

Manny, who had already been stolen in 2017, was featured on a long list of more than 20 players from Liverpool and other clubs in the region who have been victims of the crime of robbery over the past 15 years.
Roberto Ferdinando, Steven Gerrard and Pepe Reina were stolen while they were playing for Liverpool. Romilo Lucaco, Wayne Rooney and Paraguayan Roque Santa Cruz, who stole his home in December 2008 while he was playing for the Blackburn Rovers, have joined the list outside of Liverpool.
In 2003, Everton's Duncan Ferguson was present at home when a thief by the name of Carl Bishop had attempted to steal an alcoholic, who had then attempted to crack the player's head with a bottle of vodka. But Ferguson hit him with a punch in the face so hard that I dropped him off at the hospital for two days.
It was the second time Ferguson had refused to try to steal his home. In a similar confrontation in 2001, Ferguson called the police as the thief blocked the thief while the police arrived.
