The El Gouna Film Festival concluded its fourth session tonight, held in Hurghada, Egypt, in the presence of stars from the artistic community. The ceremony began with a song by Tunisian singer Amal Mathlouthi, entitled “Dream”.

The Man Who Sold His Back, the Tunisian film directed by Kawthar Ben Haniyeh, won the award for best Arab film at the closing ceremony of the El Gouna Festival. Best Asian Film Award, “Bad Tales” won the El Gouna Silver Award, “Where Are You Going Yaida” won the El Gouna Golden Star Award for Feature Film, and Engineer Khaled Bishara won the first time director Ahmed Fawzi Saleh for his film “Hamlet from Ezbet El-Sfih”, as the Egyptian film “Stacher” won the Golden Palm Award at the El Gouna Festival as best short film, the Palestinian film “200 meters” from Amin Nayfeh won the “Cinema for Humanity” award, as well as the Critics Award.

“B 100 Wesh” series gang controls El Gouna rewards

Asir Yassin and the heroes of the series “B 100 Wesh” appeared at the closing ceremony of the El Gouna festival, where they presented one of the paragraphs of the ceremony in a fun way after announcing that the awards of the festival had been stolen by the gang, but in the end, the festival director, Anchel Al-Tamimi, seemed to take control of the situation and let Yassin come back and hand over all the prizes.
