Abu Dhabi– Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, Tottenham Hotspur striker, sought after by the Spanish giants to succeed Croatia, Luka Modric, the world's best player, has dealt a new blow to Real Madrid this season.
Eriksson, 26, has accused the Real Madrid authorities of having his door full, pointing out that he is currently in talks with Tottenham officials over the extension of his contract.

"All the rumors about the negotiations with Real Madrid with me are unfounded," said Eriksson. "This is not the first time these rumors are mentioned, and it's totally wrong, just rumors."
"I do not care about these things and I do not focus on them," said the Tottenham midfielder. "I always focus on the best form possible in my matches."
