King Abdulaziz International Airport welcomed the first flights of pilgrims traveling through the Hajj and Umrah complex to the airport of the People's Republic of Bangladesh , carrying 419 pilgrims. It should be noted that all Hajj and Umrah halls at King Abdulaziz International Airport is characterized by the establishment of all travel halls for future trips since the beginning of the month of Dhu al-Qa' da until June 6 and is then reconfigured for departures only in full facilities from the 14th Dhu al-Hijjah until the 15th of the following Muharram month.

The capacity of all Hajj and Umrah halls during rush hours is estimated at 3800 pilgrims per hour, The complex consists of 14 travel rooms with 136 exit points, 192 passport platforms, 18 travel barriers, 10 treadmills, two first class buses and 100 bus stops.
