Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp congratulated goalkeeper Adrian for his brilliant performance in the Super Cup match against Chelsea.
The Reds won on penalties 5-4 after the end of regulation time and overtime with a 2-0 draw.
Adrian had more of a chance during the match and also managed to manage Chelsea's fifth shot by Tammy Abraham and led Liverpool to victory.
"What a wonderful story he kept his cool," Klopp said in remarks published by the BBC.
The German: "He's noisy in the locker room, I do not think he's managed a lot of tournaments in his life, so what happened is wonderful for him."
"He has made incredible challenges, I am very happy for Adrian."
