KUWAIT – Kuwait Airways has announced the postponement of the delivery of its new Airbus A320 aircraft scheduled for March.
The airline company "Airbus" has been informed by the airline to postpone the delivery of its new aircraft in June, October and November this year instead of the date scheduled for March.
The company said Tuesday in a series of Twitter tweets on social networks that the delay in delivery of planes may have to "cancel some of its flights and merge others."
Due to the delay in receiving the new Airbus A320 aircraft by the manufacturer, it will lease aircraft to replace its old aircraft.
Kuwait Airways said the new plane was to replace three old-style planes from 1 April 2019 for sale.
The three old planes of the model, where the old planes were stopped as early as April 1, 2019 in anticipation of the sale and waited in two weeks for the alternative aircraft that will be rented by the company to replace the old, the company could be forced to cancel some of its flights and the integration of others -2.
