Kuwait and Huawei to create smart cities

Kuwait signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese company "Huawei", aiming to establish two smart cities as well as a smart port in the country, according to the official news agency of the Kuwait.

Kuwait's General Authority for Information Technology and Communications, Salem Atarinah, said Kuwait had signed the memorandum with Huawei to effectively implement the smart cities strategy on its territory.

The memorandum was signed during the visit of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to the People's Republic of China, Government of both countries
