• Monitored 510 violations and issued 381 warnings within two months
The Jubail Municipality announced the launch of a plan for the intensive sanitary control campaign "Weqaya", with a duration of sixty days from today, which will take place as part of the intensification of control cycles in connection with the New Year's entry 1441 AH.
Mayor of Nayef bin Faisal Al-Duwaish, Mayor of Jubail Governorate, approved the plan for the comprehensive monitoring campaign prepared by the municipality for the New Year's reception, which is based on the plans and programs for the supervision of public health activities, in addition to his supervisory visits to food stores, restaurants and barbers, as part of ongoing work. Ensure the health status of health facility staff, respect general health conditions and ensure food safety and methods of handling, storage, cooking and preparation.
Engineer Naif Al-Duwaish said that the municipality had conducted 1721 inspections during the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah and Dhul Hijjah, which had made it possible to monitor 510 violations and give 381 warnings, destroying more than 754 kg of food unfit for human consumption, rehabilitating several health centers and removing more than 88 counterfeit establishments.
