Launch of Arab Engineers Day on March 3

The Egyptian Engineers Union today received the meeting of the Arab Committee of Engineers Engineers to be held for the second time in Cairo on March 23, 2019 at the beginning of Arab Engineers Day.

She added that the field of engineering was considered exclusive to men, but that Egyptian women were among the first women in the Arab world to enter this field.

The speech was delivered by the engineer Hany Dahi, president of the Egyptian Union of Engineers, during which he welcomed the reception of the engineering union for this event.

Dahi added that the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate is considered the largest engineering conglomerate with 700,000 engineers and engineers seeking, as part of a working system in the Arab Republic of Egypt. , to strengthen the role of the Egyptian engineer in particular and the Arab in general.

He pointed out that there are many models of Arab engineers having played an important and influential role in the field of engineering.The Egyptian Engineers Union was honored by one of these models, the engineer Zeinab Afifi, deputy general secretary of the Engineers Union. Field of engineering.

Dahi praised the role of Arab women in their ability to define their goals and prioritize them as engineers, wives and mothers.

At the end of his speech, Dahi stressed that he hoped that this meeting would achieve tangible results on the ground and achieve the goals of the Arab woman.

Adel Al Hadithi, General Secretary of the Union of Arab Engineers, said the creation of the Arab Engineers Committee in 2010 was meant to support the engineers and that the role of the Arab engineer did not depend solely on the work but on the its most important role in building a reliable future. The Arab Day of Engineering will be launched.

Hanan Badi Awad, Chairperson of the Arab Commission of Engineers, was pleased that many Arab representatives attended the meeting, highlighting the continued support of the Egyptian Union of Engineers and the Union of Arab Engineers.

Paddy added that the main goal of the committee is to promote joint Arab action and seek a unique system that takes into account innovations in the engineering profession and optimizes the abilities of its members to be competitive. At the end of the meeting, the general and operational objectives of the Strategic Plan of the Arab Engineers Committee were reviewed and the Committee's timetable was reviewed.
