The National Council of Pharmacists of Tunisia has launched a national campaign to rationalize the use of antibiotics under the slogan "Antibiotic", one of the most prevalent phenomena in the world and posing a real and serious threat to the public health. Considering that our country is also vulnerable to this phenomenon in a situation that has begun to cause concern.
In this context, Shadly al-Fandri, head of the National Council of Pharmacists in Tunisia, told the Nesma website that the pharmacist plays a key role in combating the resistance of bacteria to antibiotics, as a health guide due to the ease with which it is in contact and the appropriate role to convey health information to the general public, and to inform them of the problem of antibiotic resistance on the other hand.
Second, as a practitioner, giving medication to the patient is a very important job that combines drug delivery with counseling.
