An Egyptian insect scientist recently resorted to a strange and unusual scientific method to honor fellow Englishman Mohammed Salah.
According to the website of "Liverpool Echo", the Egyptian researcher Mustafa Sharaf has called "Mo Salah" on a new type of ants, a recognition of what Salah.
He is Professor of Life at King Saud University and Visiting Professor at the World Museum in Liverpool.
The researcher discovered the ant "Mo Salah" in the Sultanate of Oman and decided to name the Liverpool star to express his admiration for the player who had taken the limelight over the past two years.
Unlike Sal, the detected ant is slow to move, so it usually spends a lot of time looking for food.
Salah fans can see the ant nearby, but they must seek it in the cool areas of Oman, where Mo Salah prefers light herbs.
Earlier in January, Salah won the African Player of the Year Award in 2018 for the second consecutive year at the African Union Awards (CA), held in the Senegalese capital, Dakar.
Salah is currently the league's top scorer with 16 goals and scored 50 goals in the English Premier League after two goals against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
