A security researcher has revealed one of the biggest hacks and leaks of recent data, which includes more than 700 million email addresses with 21 million passwords.
According to security researcher Troy Hunt, there are 12,000 files up to 87 GB with 2.7 billion records stored on the MEGA service for cloud storage. After being removed from service, they still exist on some famous hacking forums.
This data leak was obtained through more than 2,000 databases decrypted with corresponding e-mail addresses and passwords, and then stored in an orderly manner across multiple tags.
