Khalfan calls for breaking relations with Yemen
Dubai's deputy police chief, Dahi Khalfan, has received unexpected responses to one of his semi-incentive tweets from Arab countries.
Arab singers, Khalfan, were surprised by the welcoming responses to his tweet, stating, "As the UAE, we are asking our government and we hope to respond to our request to sever relations with Yemen."
This tweet is part of Khalfan's ongoing drive to Yemen and the legitimate government through social media, following the UAE's destructive role in Yemen.
Yemeni reactions were welcomed, as singers from different Arab countries intervened, demanding that the UAE also cut ties with their countries.
The singers highlighted the negative role of the UAE in most Arab countries, saying that Qatar was relieved of its "evil" after the blockade imposed by land, sea and air to the Saudi Arabian countries of Bahrain and from Egypt, they said.
One of them tweeted: "Ialit cut the ties of all the Arab countries." As told a tweet: "You better get out of the Arab League. All the Arabs do not like you."
The comments of several Arab countries, calling the United Arab Emirates via a tweet, to break their relations with many Arab countries came out of the comments.
Earlier, Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan, former deputy chief of the Dubai police, Monday assassinated Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi as part of a threat described as "serious".
Khalfan said in a tweet posted on the website "Twitter": There is no need to assassinate President Hadi, as long as Ali Mohsen brothers. With reference to the Vice President of Yemen.
In the same tweet, he added, it was ultimately for the Vice President of the Brotherhood. As he said.
Khalfan's tweet prompted a wave of responses to accusations by the UAE of wanting to assassinate President Hadi after suffering a major setback in the oil-rich Shabwa province in southeastern Yemen, following the crushing defeat suffered by the militias who were loyal to them over the last three days.
