LG confirms the advent of its G8 ThinQ with a 3D front camera to unlock facial recognition

At the end of the month, LG Korea confirmed that its next flagship phone would undoubtedly be the G8 ThinQ and that it would be exceptionally endowed with a front camera equipped with a flight time sensor .

The new front camera sensor helps to measure the infrared radiation of objects to form a special structure and convert it into three dimensions, allowing to recognize the face as one of the methods of protection and unlock the phones. The camera will also be able to capture brighter, more powerful silphy images, as well as the ability to use them in augmented reality and virtual reality applications.

LG launches Infineon's REAL3, the first time that it will be used on its phones in general.
