The draw ceremony for the African Champions League group stage now takes place directly at a hotel in Cairo, through which the 16 teams that qualify for the group stage will be divided into four levels, and each level will consist of four teams, and they will be divided into four groups.
Results of the 2021 CAF Champions League group draw:
Group A: Al-Ahly, Vita Club, Congolese, Simba, Tanzania, Al-Merrikh, Sudan
Group B: Congolese Mazembe, South African Sun Downs, Sudanese Crescent and JS Belouizdad
Group C: Moroccan Wydad, Houria from Guinea, Petro Atlético from Angola, Kaizer Chiefs
Group D: Esperance tunisienne, Zamalek, MC Alger, Tounjeth

- The second round – February 23, 2021
- Third round – March 5-6, 2021
- Fourth round – March 16, 2021
- Fifth round – 2-3 April 2021
