Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp said "no one should feel safe" in the English Premier League, refusing to dismiss Chelsea and Arsenal.
Liverpool reached half of the title on Dec. 26, four points from second place, Manchester City.
Chelsea and Arsenal are fourth and fifth, respectively, 11 points behind Liverpool, while the Premier League is still 20 rounds.
"No one should think that he's out of the race," Klopp said.
In eight of the last ten seasons, the first place was Christmas Day (December 25).
Despite this, the two exceptions – in the 2008-2009 and 2013-2014 seasons – were the Liverpool champions, who lost their lead and finished second at the end of the season.
Since the beginning of the season, the German team, which hosts Newcastle United, has not been defeated.
The club's comments came after Tottenham coach Mauricio Puccitino said Liverpool and Manchester City were the "favorites" of the win, after beating Everton 6-2 at home on Sunday, cutting back on the weekend. Citi two-point gap.
"I saw the game against Everton, who was more than good, they did everything and their style was great," Klopp said.
"The same thing will happen with Arsenal and Chelsea."
He pointed out that Tottenham "has never been out of competition, so why are people surprised when they see it inside?".
"There are a lot of teams in the title race, or whatever you want, what should be."
