Italian newspaper “Corriere dello Sport” revealed today, Thursday, that Liverpool are ready to loan Belgian striker Divock Origi during the current Mercato winter.

“Corriere dello Sport” said Liverpool had no objection to loaning Origi to Inter Milan given his declining role at the team.

German coach Jurgen Klopp prefers to rely on Egyptian attacking trio Mohamed Salah, Senegalese Sadio Mane and Brazilian Roberto Firmino, in addition to the Portuguese Diogo Jota, who is currently injured.

While Inter Milan need a new striker to replace Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, Origi has been chosen by Italy coach Antonio Conte.

More than one club want to borrow Origi until the end of the current season, including Inter Milan.

It should be noted that Divock Origi (25) participated with Liverpool in the realization of the historic “Remontada” against Barcelona (4-0), during the return match of the semi-finals of the Champions League for the season ( 2018-2018), scoring the fourth goal, after losing. The Reds won the first leg at Camp Nou 3-0, and took the title over Tottenham Hotspur.
