The Liverpool team suffered a humiliating home defeat to Burnley (0-1), in the match between them Thursday night, in the 19th round of the English Premier League.
The Burnley side owe their victory to striker Ashley Barnes, who scored his only game-winning goal from a penalty he himself got, in the 83rd minute of the game at Anfield.

It is Liverpool’s first defeat under German coach Jürgen Klopp at home after 68 games since April 2017 when they lost to Chelsea at “Anfield”.
Liverpool, who suffered two defeats in the last 5 games to draw 3, stopped at 34 points and are fourth so far in the Premier League table.
Burnley raised his score after the victory to 19 points in 18 games, and climbed to the fifteenth position in the standings.
