Local gold prices fell in the middle of the trading session on Monday August 19, 2019, the value of about 5 pounds per gram being out of production.
The "News Today Portal" publishes local gold prices and may vary from one store to another, depending on the geographic extent at the provinces' level of the Republic.
The local gold prices, 21 carats about 689 pounds, 18 carats about 591 pounds and 24 carats about 787 pounds, and the gold pound recorded about 5512 pounds.
Ihab Wassef, member of the Board of Directors of the Gold Division of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, in special statements to "Akhbar Al-Youm", according to which the prices of gold locals, set a new record high of 21 carats at around 705 pounds during the mid-week evening session.
Local gold prices have risen in recent days to a value of about 20 pounds at a price of one gram without manufacturing, before starting to fall again since the beginning of this week.
