Mohammed Al Taweelah, president of the Al-Nujoom club, has denied rumors about the club's sale to the UAE's Salem Al Shamsi investor.
According to reports in the press, Al Taweelah and Al Shamsi have agreed to sell their flagship club in the coming period.
Al-Taweelah said in an official statement that the sale of the club to Salem Al-Shamsi, who previously held the club's share of the Pyramids, was not valid for nearly 48 hours.
"The principle of the sale was not on my side, but in the investment business, everything is in place and I have to study the offers with my partners," said Taweelah.
"There are no direct negotiations with Salim al-Shamsi at the moment, but several investors are currently negotiating to become the owner of the stars."
