Egyptian actress Donia Samir Ghanem attended the opening ceremony of the National Theater Festival, held on Monday evening, in the presence of Minister of Culture Enas Abdel Dayem.
This is the first time that Donia has attended since the departure of her parents, since she received their honor at the opening of the festival, whose current session bears the names of Samir Ghanem and Dalal Abdel Aziz.
In addition, Donia did not hold back tears as she watched the images shown to her parents on stage, to celebrate their great artistic history and what they have presented in the Egyptian theater for many years.
She also fell into a prolonged tearful fit, before crying again on stage after receiving the honor. She said very short words that were overwhelmed with tears.
Donia thanked everyone for their support and her sister in this difficult time.
Then the commemorative photo was taken, accompanied by the Minister of Culture and the rest of the festival winners.
