Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola was angry with his side’s winger, Algerian Riyad Mahrez, in yesterday’s game against Leipzig on Wednesday in the first round of the Champions League group stage.
Mahrez was mainly involved in the game, and scored a penalty goal in the “45 + 2” minute to help his side win with a wide 6-3 score.

But it seems that this overwhelming superiority of “City” did not stop Guardiola from expressing his dissatisfaction with certain things in the game, as the coach, nicknamed “The Philosopher”, was seen when the result indicated his team’s 4-2 progress, shouting at an excited Mahrez, as the Algerian star timidly tried to justify his position to the veteran Spain coach.
It was not known why the “philosopher” was angry, who, despite this emotion, decided to keep Mahrez until the end of the meeting.
