Annual inflation in Turkey fell less than expected to 15.0% last August, continuing its decline after the turkey crisis last year.
According to a Reuters survey, the consumer price index is expected to reach 15.51%, down from 16.65% in July.
The data showed that the biggest drop in August was transportation prices, which fell by 1.94%, while food and drink prices fell by 0.77%.
The decline in inflation is preparing the Turkish central bank to continue cutting its key rates before the end of the year.
