Magdi Abdel Ghani, a member of the Football Federation, said the Gabaliyya Council has not yet decided on the name of the director of the 2019 Nations Africa Cup after Egypt has won the recent organization after its withdrawal from Cameroon.
Abdel Ghani said in a televised statement that candidates for the post of tournament director should be heard by the media, adding that there were some votes for him but that he had not asked .
He indicated that he strongly supported Mustafa Mourad Fahmy, the former Secretary General of CAF, in his duties, stressing that it was better than Mohamed Fadl, a former Ahly player, who has respected it because he has considerable experience in this regard.
