"The European and Arab countries are united by the Mediterranean Sea and have many common problems related to security, terrorism and illegal immigration," said journalist Makram Mohamed Ahmed, chairman of the Supreme Council for Regulation medias.

He pointed out that this summit is not new and that it is being drafted two and a half years ago after the meeting of Arab and European ministers five times last year , highlighting the importance of the summit bringing together a large number of leaders from Arab and European countries.

He added: "There are many common problems, including the Palestinian cause, which the European summit is currently seeking to re-examine, and has rejected the Arab position because the fate is shared."

On Sunday evening, the Arab-European summit was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and a large number of leaders and leaders of Arab and European countries.

The summit is scheduled over two days to discuss a number of issues related to Arab and European relations and regional and international issues of common interest.
