Manchester United has mistakenly announced the name of its new coach after publishing a video presentation of the coach on the official social media pages.
The football world is eager to announce the name of the new coach after Jose Mourinho was sacked on Tuesday after his team's worst start since 1990.
The Manchester United page on Twitter has released a video of former Norwegian striker Ole Gunnar Solshire and his famous goal against Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final.
"Solshire became our temporary coach, 20 seasons after his historic treble, scoring this goal at Camp Nou," the paper said.
But the club quickly removed the flicker, posting news of the news for a later date.
The announcement, later Wednesday, is expected to announce the appointment of Solshire as interim coach of the team until the end of the season, with the possibility of expansion based on the results.
The former Red Devils forward has had limited success in his coaching career, winning the Norwegian title with his Molde team, before failing in his coaching career in Cardiff, England.
