Mani scored the record for most Liverpool players, scoring goals in the history of the Champions League with seven goals.
Sadio Mani led Liverpool to a 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich on Wednesday in the second leg of the Champions League, while Virgil van Dijk scored the second goal for the Reds.
According to the Upta statistics network, no Liverpool player has ever scored more goals in the history of the European Cup than Sadio Mani, with Senegalese striker Steven Gerrard and Roberto Fermino scoring six goals.
Mani ended the domination of his Egyptian colleague Mohamed Salah, who was crowned last season for Anfield, to conquer Senegal this year.
The Senegalese player became the second African player to score 52 goals in the competition for Liverpool, after Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who has so far scored 64 goals.
Mani's goals were split between the 39 goals of the English Premier League and the 13 goals of the Champions League.
The first match between the two teams ended in a tie on Anfield to allow the "Ridds" to qualify for the German fief of Bayern, "Allianz Arena".
