UNICEF warned on Friday, March 1, 2019, in a statement on the rise of measles worldwide, noting that 10 countries, including France, Brazil and Ukraine, are responsible for about three quarters the total increase in the number of measles cases in 2018.
In the same release, the World Health Organization (WHO) noted that in 98 countries worldwide, the incidence of measles had increased in 2018 compared to 2017, hindering prevention efforts and controlling the deadly disease, according to the United Nations Fund for Children.
It should be noted that many cases of infection with infectious virus have been recorded in recent weeks in many parts of Tunisia, such as Kasserine, Sfax and Sousse, which were controlled by health authorities.
