Companies specializing in data processing have introduced the first Micro SD memory card with a terabyte capacity.
Micron and Western Digital participated in the unveiling of a new optical memory at MWC 2019.
The terabyte is equivalent to 1024 GB.
Micron said in a statement that the "c200" memory uses 96-layer 3D-NAND cells and will go on sale this year.
This memory will give processors a better opportunity to handle fast and convenient data loading, as well as the ability to play high-quality (4K) video without problems.
Western Digital has one terabyte of memory, a data read speed of 160 MB per second, and a fast storage capacity of 90 Mbps.
1000 high-resolution images and 24K (4K) video recordings can be transferred in less than three minutes.
