Microsoft has released an update to address a CPU consumption issue caused by the latest Windows system update KB4515384, which was causing problems in the Start menu.
According to the US Forbes website, one of the affected users said: "Microsoft corrects the CPU usage by completely stopping the search so that it can not be used," writes another on the Microsoft's Feedback Hub site: "This update again has the same problem as the previous update."
It should be noted that the Windows 10 update, which downloaded version KB4515384 was launched on September 10, is automatically downloaded in the background, pointing out that more than 50% of computers now use the latest system, Windows 10, after more than four years of its release.
The operating system, installed on more than 75 million PCs during its first four weeks, exceeded 110 million after 10 weeks. At 50.99% in August, however, growth has been slow since the expiration of the free Windows 10 upgrade in July 2016.
