Ahmed Hossam "Mido" has been named interim coach of Al Wehda, the best coach of the 15th round of the Saudi League, by the Saudi Professional League.
Mido took command of the unit on a temporary basis until the appointment of a new technical director of the team, who will work as the club's technical advisor for the end of the season.
Mido defeated Al-Faisaly 0-0 in the 14th round, before taking a 2-1 win over Ahly Jeddah in the final round to win the tour's top coaching title.
Mido had previously announced that Al Ahli would be his last match with the team.
