His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, announced the success of the Hajj’s health plan for this year’s Hajj 1442 AH, and that it was free from epidemics of Corona virus and d ‘other epidemic diseases.
In a press release today, His Excellency expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Highness the Crown Prince – God preserve them – for their interest and their concern to provide all the means and capacities to serve the pilgrims and to facilitate their accomplishment of the rituals of Hajj in a comfortable and safe atmosphere.
He said: “Based on the concern of the wise leadership to safeguard the health and safety of the pilgrims, the Ministry of Health and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority have prepared for this year’s Hajj 1442 AH through to an integrated system of health facilities in the Holy sites, which included a group of hospitals and health centers and highly equipped ambulances supervised by medical, technical and administrative teams include executives qualified and trained to work during the Hajj season, and all government sectors involved in serving the pilgrims have gone to great lengths to implement the Hajj health plan to ensure their safety and prevent the spread of infection among them in light of the pandemic of Corona.
His Excellency pointed out that the first efforts and precautionary measures to deal with the health situation of the pandemic during the Hajj season of this year, which required limiting the execution of the Hajj to sixty thousand pilgrims who completed the vaccine , these helped, thank God, to maintain the health and safety of the pilgrims, expressing thanks to the rational government for its unlimited support. To the ministry, its employees and all parts of the state operating during the Hajj season, praying to Almighty God to accept their pilgrimages from the pilgrims and return them safe and sound to their families.
