The Ministry of Health has authorized pharmacies to provide urgent and non-urgent medical care, as well as vaccination and vital signs services, to the pharmacy after meeting the requirements set out in the system.
The Ministry announced that, in accordance with the regulations of the amended system of pharmaceutical facilities and preparations, recently approved by the Minister of Health, Tawfiq Alrabiah, pharmacies are authorized to provide pharmaceutical care services;
She explained that the regulation also allowed the opening of urgent medical care centers within the pharmacy with an independent license and the provision of non-emergency medical services after approval of the Ministry, as well as the opening of pharmacies in the hospitals. food stores.
The regulation also states that the ministry should license pharmacy and online grocery store facilities and approve the use of vending machines.
She stated that pharmaceutical products can only be sold if their official price and registration number are printed on their outer envelope and recorded in the electronic tracking system.
