Ministry of Labor cuts the cost of repatriating domestic workers from the Philippines

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development has launched a "Maroufah" service to facilitate and regulate the recruitment of domestic workers and to provide a quality service to the citizens and residents of the Kingdom.

The service was made available through the Musanad portal, allowing the beneficiary to bring in domestic workers from the Philippines at a fixed cost of 8 850 SAR (50% less than the usual recruitment cost) "excluding VAT" in a specified period of 45 days, provided that the name of the citizen.

This service can be used by obtaining a Filipino worker visa and writing the worker information, including "Name, Passport Number and Worker Contact Number".

This service has been put in touch with the best authorized recruitment agencies to receive and process applications in which the selection of the "service provider" office is automatically performed by the system by the citizen residing in the city.

The service is limited to the Musanad portal of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, which allows more than 1,000 offices and businesses to compare their prices, as well as the performance standards of service providers.
