Mohamed Salah wins the BBC 2018 African Player of the Year Award for the second year

Mohamed Salah, Egyptian star and Liverpool, won the BBC African Player of the Year Award in 2018.

This is the second time in a row that Mohamed Salah is crowned African player of the year by the BBC after being crowned last year.

Mohamed Salah defeated Senegalese Calido Coulibaly, Italian club Napoli, Moroccan defender Mehdi Ben Attia, Juventus, Sadio Mani of Senegal and Liverpool of England, Thomas Barty of Ghana and Atletico Madrid of 39, Spain for the trophy.
