Moroccan King Mohammed VI stressed that the serious problems threatening the security and stability of the Arab world are sometimes due to the policies and behavior of some countries with regard to others.
In a letter sent by Prime Minister Saad Eddin al-Othmani on Monday to the first joint EU-Arab League summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, King Mohammed said: "This threat remains attached to the principles of good neighborliness and respect for sovereignty national and territorial integrity of countries, stop and avoid interfering in its internal affairs and achieve the rebirth of the Arab homeland. "
The Moroccan monarch called on Arab national security to remain an Arab affair, immune from any interference or outside influence, and stressed the importance of international efforts of "trusted partners" to prevent any harm to the security of the Arab world.
The king warns that any damage to Arab security would inevitably undermine the security of Europe and the whole world.
