El-Shazly told Al-Masry Al-Youm: “I feel diminished in front of great women in Egypt and the Arab world who have spent their lives in community work and in the service of development projects. They may be far from the limelight and the media, but their influence is visible everywhere and lives up to many lives. “

She added, “I thank the Arab Council for Community Development, and I hope to do more in the development work.” It should be noted that journalist Mona El-Shazly, in addition to her media work, participates in numerous governmental and non-governmental development and enlightenment projects.
