Sheikh Khalifa .. And the swine flu

The statement from the ministry follows a communication to the hospital Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed (private), according to which the death of a pregnant woman was due to swine flu.

The University Hospital of Casablanca said on Tuesday that its medical teams had made the necessary medical interventions, immediately after receiving the lady who died on Monday, because of her disease caused by swine flu (H1N1).

"I have taken all necessary measures to take care of all similar cases, with appropriate isolation devices in the designated places for this purpose," the statement said.

According to the report, "the emergency department welcomed the victim in critical condition, after one of the clinics in Fez was unable to diagnose his condition."

"The doctor responsible for the case of the 34-year-old woman underwent the necessary tests that confirmed her infection with the deadly virus."

He added that "the hospital has informed the Regional Directorate of Health, which is eager to provide antiretroviral drugs in coordination with the Ministry of Health, but that the drug should be taken before the deadline 48 hours and that the victim did not respond to treatment because she was not diagnosed in the first days ".
