Morocco bids farewell to veteran artist Amina Rachid

Moroccan actress Amina Rachid, who died at the hospital last night at the age of 83, was mourned on Tuesday.

The Moroccan Ministry of Culture and Communication said in a statement that the late "has presented over the course of his art more than 60 works of theater and has participated in many television works since 1962".

"I have worked on Moroccan radio for many years, providing about 3,500 dramas and radio series and I have participated in several films."

Many of his colleagues and admirers have inherited influential influences on social media.

"The icon of Moroccan theater, film, television and radio is deported to the House of Survival," said Moroccan actor Abdellah Chicha on his Facebook account.

Amina Rashid was married to writer and journalist Abdullah Chakroun, who died in 2017 at the age of 91.

"Despite the illness, I was firm and patient," wrote Moroccan actress and presenter Samia Agriou about her last meeting. "My dear mother, my precious mother, is only Amina Rachid Ghazala.

As the Egyptian actor Mustafa Shaaban lamented on his Twitter account, "with sadness, I mourn the Moroccan artist and Professor Amina Rachid".

The most famous films of the deceased artist (Lalla Hobi) directed by Mohamed Abdel Rahman Tazi in 1996, (director of salt and sugar), director Hakim Nuri in 1999 and (burning hearts) of the director Ahmed Maanouni in 2007.
