Mourinho takes a new position after his training

Former Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has joined Sky Sports' analysts for the Premier League matches, starting with Manchester United and Chelsea on Sunday.

"José Mourinho, triple Premier League coach, will join Sky Sports for his biggest football season of all time," said the English television channel in a statement posted on its website.

"The former manager of Chelsea and Manchester United will add a lot of knowledge (…) and strong opinions to use at Sky Sports this season."

"The Premier League is a special tournament for me, it takes a lot of work to win," he said.

Since his dismissal from Manchester United's technical leadership in December 2018, the 56-year-old has not held any coaching positions, although he has expressed the wish to return to the field in his previous statements.

Last season, the Portuguese analyzed the matches through BN Sports, Qatar.

Mourinho has overseen a number of major clubs in Europe and is one of the most prominent coaches of his summit. Barcelona (once) and Real Madrid.

On Sunday, Chelsea, who finished third last season and won the Europa League title under former coach Maurizio Sarri at Juventus, will be at Old Trafford for the Reds, who finished sixth.
