A United Nations program has helped the Syrian regime and Russia bomb the opposition by forwarding the details of opposition factions to the Russian government, the US foreign policy magazine announced on Monday.
The United Nations shares with Russia the contact details of health care facilities located in the opposition-controlled territories to ensure that they are not bombed, the report said, but the system seems to reverse its apparent purpose.
The report pointed out that this system was not working, pointing out that up to 46 civilian facilities in Idlib had been attacked during the Syrian regime's recent campaign against the province, and that at least 14 medical facilities listed on the UN list had been attacked, according to the "Syrian American Medical Association". .
The magazine said in its report that the bombing revealed knowledge of the Syrian regime and Russia at the sites of the facilities when they were accurately affected.
The report adds that this is not the first time that known installations are targeted. In March and April 2018, four health facilities also known to have been attacked by the regime and Russia.
Syrian regime raids have destroyed the last hospital in Telmens town, in the Idlib campaign, reinforcing suspicions that the regime and Russia would have access to medical coordinates in opposition areas.
