The Arab League has paid tribute to Nadine Labaki for her role in supporting issues relating to the rights of the child, as evidenced by her film "Kfar Nahum" and her Jury Prize at the 71st Cannes Film Festival of 2018, which has been nominated for prestigious awards Best Foreign Film of 2019.
The prize coincides with the commercial launch of the film "Capernaum" in the region, which was launched this week in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan and Syria.
The director visited some of these capitals and the shows were donated to associations performing humanitarian work.
