NASA director reveals true identity of Pluto

Clearly, the question of Pluto's identity as a dwarf planet or its recognition as a planet will recommence, after NASA's director, Jim Pridenstein, revealed that he believed that the body heavenly was a planet, not a dwarf planet.

Speaking at FIRST Robotics, Oklahoma AmericanBreidenstein strongly opposed the popular belief about Pluto.

"Just as you know, in my opinion, Pluto is a planet," said Pridenstein.

Pluto was declared a planet for the first time in 1930 after its discovery by the American astronomer Clyde Tombeau. At that time, it was supposed to be the ninth planet in the solar system, a planet on the periphery of the solar system in the Kuiper Belt.

In 2005, astronomers discovered a dwarf planet named Eris, 27% larger than Pluto. A year later, it was decided to classify Pluto as a dwarf planet. But its orbit being rectangular and interfering with that of Neptune, it was excluded from its planetary classification.
